Connect 4 is brilliantly simple and a game that everyone should own for times when you feel the need to be competitive without any physical violence against another person! It's a low tech game for two players that is played on a table and doesn't need any kind of batteries or gadget connectivity. You just need your brain and the pieces inside the box!
Set up the board on the table between the two players and take turns placing either red or yellow disks into the slots that make up a 6 x 7 vertical grid. The aim of the game is to get four in a row before your opponent does and block them at the same time. That is where the strategy comes in since you have to place your pieces to make your own line while at the same time trying to prevent the other player from making their "connect 4".
